G&R Insulating Ltd is dedicated to protecting:
The workers that work within G & R Insulating
The property and equipment used in the business processes
The environment where work is being conducted
All visitors and customers that the company interacts with.
The Health and Safety Program of our company is not static – we upgrade our program on a continuous basis.
The success of a Health and Safety Program requires the participation and commitment of everyone within the organization. Within the program, the responsibilities for safety have been defined for management, supervisors, workers, subcontractors, visitors, and the health and safety coordinator.
Recognizing the importance of an effective safety program, G&R Insulating has developed a Health
and Safety Manual in accordance to the standards and guidelines established by
the Petroleum Industry. The certifying partner is ENFORM.
“COR” The Certificate of Recognition (COR) program is a proven way for oil and gas employers to improve their health and safety performance. Enform is the certifying partner of COR for the oil and gas industry.
The COR process requires employers to develop and implement a health and safety program that meets provincial standards. This process results in improved worker safety, reduced costs due to lost productivity, replacement worker training, property damage and incident investigation as well as reducing legal risk exposure.
“ISNetworld”, as described on their own website, is the global resource for connecting corporations with safe, reliable contractors/suppliers from capital-intensive industries. ISN collects self-reported conformance information from contractors/suppliers, verifies its accuracy, and then reports the results in an easy-to-follow format.
This allows corporations to select those resources that best meet internal and governmental requirements, while providing contractors/suppliers the opportunity to centralize their conformance information, saving time and gaining presence in the marketplace.
“Comply Works” (Formerly Canada HSE) is Integrated Health, Safety, Environment; Canada’s largest national industrial safety services company. Comply Works offers a comprehensive range of safety training programs for a variety of industrial applications.
The purpose of the Grande Prairie Construction Association (GPCA), together with the Alberta Construction Association (ACA) and the Canadian Construction Association (CCA), is to provide members a credible, common voice with access to all three (3) levels of Government. We advocate for Governmental support of the Construction Industry in the form of laws and trade agreements promoting the fair and open competition of publicly tendered projects. We support a safe, skilled workforce through our partnerships with Alberta’s Apprenticeship and Industry Training and the Alberta Construction Safety Association (ACSA). Moving forward in the technological age, we provide our membership with access to bid on public and private construction projects by hosting an electronic plan room (Buildworks Canada) with all eight (8) of the Local Construction Associations in Alberta.
WCB-Alberta was created by government to administer the Workers’ Compensation Act for the province’s workers and employers. Funded by employers, we provide cost-effective disability and liability coverage for work-related injury and illness. This means we compensate workers for lost income and coordinate the health care and other services they need due to a work-related injury.
WorkSafeBC was established by provincial legislation as an agency with the mandate to oversee a no-fault insurance system for the workplace. We partner with employers and workers in B.C. to do the following:
When you work with a company who maintains and regularly updates their safety protocols and regulations you know that you’re working with a company who values you.
